I love teaching. I get excited by technology. I derive great satisfaction in supporting, advocating, mentoring and uplifting others to their success. I've had the flukiest luck of a career, stumbling into technology by accident because I couldn’t find work as a chemical engineer… In my day job, I am a software developer in the data analytics space, integrating and customizing out-of-the-box business intelligence software with custom solutions built on NodeJS and React. I've had many roles in the past, and while I wouldn’t shy away from people or product management, my bias is fingers-to-keyboard lego building! Teaching, however, has always been a frequent and meandering visitor in my career and life. I am drawn to connect people and technology in a way that enriches their lives. This may take the form of teaching a single class, a 6-month coding bootcamp or simply introducing people to technology as a potential career and helping them move forward. I love advocating-for, and supporting people on their journey.

I'm currently learning Rust, SolidJS and incorporating Jotai into my personal and professional React projects.
